There’s a light golden haze on the tree-tops
the sun has come out to say “Hi”
I had hoped for more rain
to clear soot from street drains
but the clouds have gone by
so I sit in the house wondering why….
Oh, it’s a beautiful morning
looks like it will be great day
I had a wonderful feeling
until I read what is in play….
Oy - everything’s going their way.
