Ding-Ding - The Bin Is Dead

Marching onward with all of the cajones of a well-bred bull, the USA finally got their man – eight years to the day of George W’s infamous MISSION ACCOMPLISHED posturing. Imagine that! The frail, ill, crafty and more-of-a-figurehead than an operational Al Qaeda leader is no more. Gone. Killed. Spending time with lots of Virgins -- the poor dears.

Although the impact of Bin Laden’s death is small on strategic levels, the psychological importance on military operations and within pro-Laden/the “bad guys” factions is strong. I doubt that the bad guys will be happy about this development. Bad guys getting madder than usual is dangerous. Thus, the alert level is a tad high around US military bases and other key places.

What a tease President Obama is! He kept the press waiting forever before he strolled to the mic to spread the news – officially – in historical phrasings. Well done, though a bit long and increasingly flowery in spirit after staring-down our enemies with his determined eyes to remind them which country is still “Boss” by golly!

This is good news. Which is why we’ll be hearing the GOP bring Bush’s name into the success of it well beyond what is necessary. After all, this victory happened on Obama’s watch.

I bring up the above point as GOPer’s like to deflect any current references to the Bush administration's tragic effect on a once-vibrant economy, by dusting it under the rug of the past and dumping all of the deficit problems on Obama, clearly forgetting on whose watch the economy was slaughtered.

In other words, if they are going to remind people of Bush's role in a success, then it's okay to remind them what role Bush's policies played in ripping-off America's money. Understand?

How many hours will it take before the sour naysayers begin muttering begrudging sound-bites to take the glory away from a Democratic president?

The countdown begins. 3-2-1…….

  1. 3...2...1...0: It's a well known fact, that Obama inherited a total mess from Bush. Only problem is, he made it worse!
