A Direct Re-Direct

Last night in New Hampshire a group of GOP twoof-tellers gathered to outshine each other in a Great Debate to win the primary crown for the 2012 presidential race. Michele Bachmann, who finally announced that she is serious (thus not a fake) to take up the mantle of an official candidate, came across as the most prepared of the lot.

I could write many amusing observations of the evening’s machinations; however, the following article from The Huffington Post provides a perfect view of what I would spew:

Enjoy or hiss, whatever suits your political bliss.

  1. Shauna, you write like these people. Jason Linkins, especially. Feel better cos I want to read how you think about Bachmann's entry into the group.

  2. Read it. Just what I would expect from a "news" organization bought and paid for by George Soros.

  3. John - Would you care to elaborate on your POV? As you have become a voice for the "other side" I would like the readers to understand where you're coming from.

You were once a Democrat. You had personal contact w/ the Carter admin. What happened? What changed? I have no idea how many will read your response, but it would be enlightening.

  4. Yes Shauna, I will try to keep it brief. I watched the economy begin it's decline with the housing debacle when my former boss Jimmy Carter, signed the Community Reinvestment Act.
At that time, members of ACCORN were doing sit in's and protest's at banks to the point where they could no longer do business. This forced the banks into giving loans to people who could not, and in many cases, had NO INTENTION of paying them back. Then Bill Clinton doubled down on it. The Dems were SO DESPERATE to enable people to buy housing that they couldn't afford, they were no longer required to have to put the standard 20% down, and could actually used WELFARE as a source of income. And that's when those two huge lending institutions (who's names escape me at the moment...May and Mack?) went into the tank. That's something that if you and your followers would do some HONEST research on, it would blow your mind. Not only that, it would let Bush (who I despise as much as Obama) off the hook for most of the BS he's being blamed for. That's one point. Let me get a cup of coffee, gather my thoughts, and I'll be back with some more. John

  5. OK. I'm back. At the risk of sounding like Glenn Beck, I shall reveal some of my own independent research.

When I first heard Obama speak at the Democratic Convention in 1984, I thought to myself, "Holy shit...this is just what this country needs!!" I was more than willing to consider returning to the Democratic party, and supporting this "God send" to American politics. That is, until I started reading up on him.

When I went to the White House Staff, it took six months for my special background clearance to be completed. They went clear back to my first grade teacher, who they found in a nursing home. I was so relieved, and proud, when I passed my country's requirements, to be in the same room with the President of the United States.

But then I started reading what Obama admitted to in his own words in Dreams of My Father, and The Audacity of Hope. Holy crap!! He did things that if I would have done the same, I would have been placed in a U.S. Navy brig, and left there to rot. Just the fact that he sat at the feet of and took his earliest inspiration from Frank Marshal Davis, an avowed communist, snorting cocaine, or even had the SLIGHTEST contact or dealings with the likes of Bill Ayres and Bernadeen Dorn, would have absolutely, been enough to keep our future president from passing his OWN background investigation. In other words, he couldn't pass a background check based on the requirements of the FBI if his life depended on it.

After his election, I started hearing about the 34 "czars" he appointed. My research on them just blew my mind. It would take me all day to lay out my arguments against them. Their radical socialist, Marxist, and communist views alone should have kept them from being anywhere within 5 miles of the White House. I'll just touch on one of them, and leave it to you and yours to do your research on the others, if you dare, or so desire.
Let's talk about John Holdren, Obama's science czar. I have seen at many democratic protests and rally's, huge posters of Bush, with an Adolph Hitler mustache painted on his upper lip. That's a tired old bit of nonsense that they never seem to get tired of. Anytime the protesters have a bone to pick with a conservative, they draw the comparison. NOBODY comes closer to the ideas and practices of Adolph Hitler and the Nazi regime, than John Holdren. His beliefs are as follows:

Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not.

The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nations drinking water or in food.

Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will, and given away to other couples to raise.

People who "contribute to social deterioration" (i.e. undesirables) can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility. In other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.

A transnational "Planetary Regime" should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of American's lives, using an armed international police force.

Forced abortions, forced sterilization, government control of reproduction. Confiscation of babies at the whim of the state. Elimination of so called undesirables. Doesn't this sound a lot like Doctor Mengele, and the Third Reich?
    More coffee. BRB John

  6. George Soros. Please, don't take my word for it. IF YOU CARE about the future of this country, IF YOU CARE about the future of your children and grandchildren, go to youtube, and listen to this man's own words in his interviews. He wants nothing more, than a one world order, and to collapse the economy of the United States.

In 1979 Soros established the Open Society Institute (OSI), which serves as the flagship of a network of Soros foundations that donate tens of millions of dollars each year to a wide array of individuals and organizations that share the founder's agendas. Those agendas can be summarized as follows:

promoting the view that America is insinstitutionally an oppressive nation

promoting the election of leftist political candidates throughout the United States

opposing virtually all post-9/11 national security measures enacted by U.S. government, particularly the Patriot Act

depicting American military actions as unjust, unwarranted, and immoral

promoting open borders, mass immigration, and a watering down of current immigration laws

promoting a dramatic expansion of social welfare programs funded by ever-escalating taxes

promoting social welfare benefits and amnesty for illegal aliens

defending the civil rights and liberties of suspected anti-American terrorists and their abetters

financing the recruitment and training of future activist leaders of the political Left

advocating America's unilateral disarmament and/or a steep reduction in its military spending

opposing the death penalty in all circumstances

promoting socialized medicine in the United States

promoting the tenets of radical environmentalism, whose ultimate goal, as writer Michael Berliner has explained, is "not clean air and clean water, [but] rather ... the demolition of technological/industrial civilization"

bringing American foreign policy under the control of the United Nations

promoting racial and ethnic preferences in academia and the business world alike

    promoting taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand

    advocating stricter gun-control measures

    advocating the legalization of marijuana

So - review this list and then take a look at the organizations he throws millions of dollars to and you will see his agenda surfacing through these multiple non-profits.
According to Discover the Networks, all told, Soros' foundation network made an estimated $5 billion worth of grants between 1979 and 2007.

He has established a "shadow party" charged with getting control of the conservative media. As a result of this, he has his money, control and influence spread out over thirty major news organizations, which include, but are not limited to NPR, New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, NBC, ABC and your favorite, Shauna, the Huffington Post.

And it's because of his heavy investment in the American media, that the likes of Obama, Bill Ayres, Bernadine Dorn, Reverend Wright, Van Jones, or the 34 communist-Maxist-socialist
Constitution hating czars were never vetted by the media.

What I have stated in these three responses dear Shauna, are more less the same things I wrote to you in emails, when we decided to "debate" each other. Much to my surprise, I never received any rebuttal, challenge, or input from you the first time I expressed myself. So, I don't know if it's going to do any good at all (probably not) to repeat myself. But, STILL LUV YA!!! John

  7. Thanks, John. On the plus side, I agree re: the clearance concerns you mentioned and how it is curious how some people can immediately have access to any president, but others, as w/ your experience, were vetted forever.

Re: Soros. He is, in my opinion, simply the Democratic side of the coin as the Koch brothers are on the Republican/Libertarian side.

I don't have the energy to delve into major personal political debates, as I mentioned in our emails due to various time/attention requirements...but I am willing to learn a deeper truth when provided w/ details, as you have.

My request/suggestion that you explain/express what changed your mind was to have a non-combative layout of what bugs people who believe as you do. So, I won't debate. I'll refer to what you've written as a blueprint.

I'm still on the mend health-wise or else I would tackle a few of your points either here or in a blog. As it is, I can write basic notes, but am struggling with writing anything from a passionate POV - as can see - in my regular blogs these days.

Thanks for your input - I do appreciate it.
