Right now all is quiet on the scandal front beyond speculations over whether or not Congressman Weiner will tough it out and not allow his colleague's sharp elbows to hit him where it hurts. (Yes, many are that short.)
And hey, according to New York polls, most of his constituents want him to remain in office...more women than men, too.
Go figure.
Meanwhile, I have more coughing to do.
What I don't understand, is when the republican was busted for his torso shot, it was INSTANT resignation. Now Pelosi is going to spend

an ethics investigation. That's where the
difference lies. I have no doubt he will
remain in his position within the democratic
party, just like Chalie Rangle did. And that's
just fine with me. If he his job remains intact,
can you imagine the outrage of the decent people
in this country at the next election?? John
After using the excuse to not waste public funds on investigating who "hacked" his Twitter account during the week-long media blitz of denials, I can't imagine he'll be able to stay in office - esp. now that THE pic has been circulated.
ReplyDeleteYep, "THE" picture finally raised it's ugly head. Ooops.....pun not inteded, really. It just keeps getting worse for the guy. He probably won't be around very much longer. I would HATE to see something like this happen, but he's sunk so far, he should be placed on suicide watch. John
