Smoke Gets In Their Lies

Marijuana State and Federal laws are once more at odds. Such as THIS case, for example. Okay, The Authorities didn't like how open Aaron was with his occupation, but more than that, it seems to me that "they" are irked that Mr. I'm-So-Rich-As-A-Medical-MJ Man flaunted his wealth, rather than slinking along a debris-ridden alley, ashamed of his profession and for all of the lives he was saving ruining for – gasp – doing what under California Law he was allowed to do.

What's up with all of the MJ-bashings? Even Little Justin Beaverhead is getting grief for openly showing his love of the basically harmless herb. Granted, he's supposed to be a "role model" – according to whom, BTW? – and so peeps are hammering all over his public displays of affection with Weed. Hey, I say good for the Twerp. We're not seeing hollow Heroin Eyes on him. In fact, the very idea makes me laugh. He already looks absurd wearing Large Intrusive Black Shades and a way-too-high backward baseball cap. The kid just can't look cool no matter how many times he whizzes around L.A. in his Ultra-Look-At-Me Porsche. However, for the first time ever, I tell you, The Beibs looked totally natural holding the joint/blunt that was captured on camera last week. He looked just like a regular guy getting "medicated" with his buds. No biggie.

So I ask once again, what's the Big Friggin' Deal about Marijuana beyond the billions Certain Someone's In Certain Places would lose were it to become Fully Legal on a Federal Level. As we inch closer to tolerance on the herb, realizing how benign it is in comparison to alcohol, as well as the medicinal properties and effects, the stronger The Feds go after anyone who isn't huddling in fear and intimidation.

Why is The Obama Administration allowing this senseless waste of money and prison space when far worse crimes are commuted, if prosecuted at all. Obama has that Conservative Streak goin' on. He never hid it…most peeps simply didn't want to see it. But this isn't the way I believe his administration should be flaunting their cojone's. 

So, I ask, whatzzup? Any conspiracies going on with this one?

Oh, and apologies for posting so late in the day. I was testing my New Medical Medicine this morning and somewhere along the way I lost track of the time.
