Herman Cain gets the Flog today for continuing to prove that even men in small positions of power still treat women like trash...if we are to believe his latest accuser. Groping a woman who has come to you for help in getting a job, pushing her head down to the lower level of your pelvis for special favours, is beyond crass. In addition, Gloria Allred must face the Flogging Whip for accepting yet another high profile client where Gloria can prove once again that there isn't a news camera she doesn't love. Not that she doesn't help many of the women who go to her for representation. It is simply the fact that Ms. Allred has a corner on the market for wronged females in compromising positions. I'd love to see someone else standing beside one of these women in the future, if for nothing else than a bit of diversity. See: More of the Same?
Wow Shauna. Up until this blog, I was so proud of you for not jumping on the Herman Cain left wing band wagon.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty" in this country? So far, all we've had are accusations. No proof. As far as "Gloria Allred," this hack is not only an ambulance chaser, she probably drives her own ambulance. Anybody who appears at a press conference with her has to be suspect, just by association.
The credibility of Sharon Bialek has already come into question with her record of financial
woes, including bankruptcy. And if this REALLY HAPPENED, don't you think she would have been able to stand there and tell her story, rather than reading it from a prepared statement?
In the first week of this so called scandal, the three major networks devoted 84 stories to
Herman Cain. On the other side of the coin, when Bill Clinton was accused by Juanita Broaddrick, a total of 4 stories made it to the evening news.
It doesn't matter that Clinton lied his ass off in front of Congress and the American people in regards to Monica....he was still re-elected.
There was only one story dedicated to John Edwards. The left wing media swept that under
the rug until a year later, when the his love
child surfaced.
And even if the accusations against Mr. Cain are true, you should be proud of him. After all,
he is only subscribing to the morals and behavior
of the left. John
Hey John - Have to agree w/ you on the excessive coverage of the Cain "scandals." Also agree on the coverage (or lack thereof) of J. Edwards' scandal. However, most on both sides of the political aisle jumped on Anthony Weiner w/ equal fervor - even before he admitted the Tweet was "his." It goes on.....
ReplyDeleteRight now I sincerely doubt anyone on either the Right ort Left actually believes Cain will win the nomination and so it isn't, in my opinion, a politically motivated slam - more of a lascivious media story to fill space.
Romney is so boring and Perry so inept that anything with "life" will rule the coverage.
Cain is just another one of those temporary deflections. I do think, as w/ Tiger Woods, when a ton of closet doors begin to open w/ women falling out of them there is truth along the way. And just b/c the woman doesn't have a pristine pasts doesn't mean she is lying.
